Great Power has announced the release of its new 100Ah cell solution for residential energy storage, featuring an extended cycle life and enhanced environmental adaptability. As an essential component in modern storage systems, residential energy storage links renewable energy sources with household electricity needs. Extended Lifespan: Over 7,000 Cycles

Cycle life is crucial for high-frequency use and durability, especially for users participating in virtual power plants, where longer-lasting storage products offer significant economic advantages. By optimizing lithium consumption through an innovative technical approach, Great Power has upgraded the cycle life of its 100Ah storage cell from 4,000 to over 7,000 cycles, ensuring stable and reliable performance.


To achieve this, Great Power has employed unique technologies, including high-compaction cathodes technology, which enhances stability over long cycles. Additionally, the newly developed lithium-release technology compensates for irreversible lithium loss, effectively increasing energy density and longevity. Paired with high-entropy graphite anode technology, the cell’s performance is further optimized, increasing lithium-ion embedding efficiency and enhancing overall lifespan.

LTSC Low-Temperature Superconducting Technology

To meet diverse environmental needs, Great Power has incorporated its proprietary LTSC low-temperature superconducting technology into the enhanced 100Ah cell, enabling reliable charging at -10℃. This technology integrates anode and electrolyte materials at low-temperature, creating a fast-conducting path for ions while maintaining cycle life.


Through micro-level electrode design, the LTSC technology significantly improves lithium-ion diffusion rates, enhancing both charging capacity and operational stability in cold environments. This adaptation broadens the 100Ah cell’s applicability, making it suitable for various climates and complex low-temperature conditions.
